Putting My Blogging Journey Into Perspective

Putting My Blogging Journey Into Perspective

Over the past five months, I have had quite an amazing journey developing myself and my businesses. It has been a great feeling to chronicle my progress and share it with my readers.

My life is completely different than it was six months ago in every way imaginable. Six months ago, I was working at a job I wasn’t enjoying and frustrated that my businesses weren’t making any progress. Today, I am self-employed, busier than I have ever been, and enjoy my life more than ever.

Not only that, but thanks to my blog, I am involved in a new startup which has incredible promise. I’ve been so busy that I haven’t had the time to reflect on it all, until the other day when I was asked to participate in my first interview via telephone.

A couple of weeks ago, I was contacted by Christine from Create Business Growth and we had the interview last Thursday. What was originally suppose to be a 15-20 minute phone call turned into 90 minutes of fascinating conversation about blogging, life, and my journey towards success in the business world. Needless to say, I very much enjoyed talking with Christine. Not only did she ask intelligent questions, but she is also great conversationalist and transcribed our conversation into a well-written article about yours truly.

I am very honored that Create Business Growth asked me to be their first interviewee. They have been a been a huge supporter of my blog and for that I am very thankful.

By the way, don’t forget to enter Create Business Growth’s Podcast Gear Giveaway contest. All you have to do to enter is subscribe to their RSS (and notify Christine). You could potentially win $335 of podcast gear.

Also, Create Business Growth is holding an SEO Boot Camp on June 23rd.

Special thanks to everyone at Create Business Growth including David, Fred, and especially Christine!

Nate… We appreciate the kind words in this post. We will be featuring other bloggers weekly and are glad that you were able to be our first. I’m 40 and sometimes wish I was 23 again. Your energy is inspiring. Although CBG is relatively new, since we’re old people :-) , we have established ourselves in other areas. However, in all honesty, your blog inspires us to grow our blog presence. I’m hoping your 300+ readers will all get our RSS as well. We’re also launching an online press release as well about your interview. As you and I know, IT WAS NOT A PAID INTERVIEW. That makes it even better. Best of success… David Co-Founder.

Yeah, that’s right. There are not many 40+bloggers, but hell – I have seen a few rockin’ 40+ that blast a crowd of teenagers!
