Okay folks, I have good news and bad news…
Here’s the good news… I decided to take the leap and make a necessary server migration ahead of schedule. We currently run a dedicated-virtual server utilizing the Plesk v.7.5 control interface. Well, version 8.1 is out now and has several worthwhile enhancements, such as RubyOnRails support, the latest version of MySQL, and not to mention, I will be able to take advantage of an extra 15GB of hard drive storage.
Here’s the bad news… As my servers migrate to the new IP, things might be acting kind of funny for the next few hours. As soon as this is all done, normal updating will resume. I will also have a great new article about the future of domain investing here in the next few days (sorry for the delay).
Thanks for everyone’s patience. The new server we will be running will allow for some awesome new features built my web sites.
P.S. – I am flying to San Diego today to visit family for my birthday. I turn 23 today. I feel kinda old, but this should be my Michael Jordan-year!
I will post an update later tonight.
What are you guys up to this weekend?
