And yes...that article from Vinay really shows you how much more powerful Google will become. Thanks for the comment.

Google is going to be doing great things over the next few years. Sweet FIND Nate!! This video coupled with that recent article recommendation from Vinay are 2 very powerful pieces of information, regardless of its somewhat fictitious or futuristic state of predictions.

Wow, that was a pretty intriguing video….extremely thought provoking and well enjoyed!! While on the subject, I would highly recommend this article:http://www.pbs.org/cringely/pulpit/2007/pulpit_20070119_001510.html

Nate – Definitely a thought provoking film.<br

It would be the ultimate cyberspace guarantee that perception IS reality, and would re-create the same closed-loop system of information already in place (since most of us only choose exposure to media which validates our pre-existing biases anyhow). I am convinced, however, that there will always be access to diverse points of view, if that's a value we hold dear. Whether we're reading the New York Times, USA Today, or the National Review, it's still incumbent upon us to be critical thinkers. In my opinion "Google-zon" won't be the problem; our disinclination to think outside our own boxes is. Perhaps in the EPIC template that hypothetically would provide each individual a personalized reality, intelligent and opposing points of view could be simultaneously offered. To borrow a nineties cliche, "It's the dialectic, stupid!" Thanks for exposing us to this fascinating clip!

I think it’s absolutely brilliant as a prediction! Probable, maybe. Such a complex concept can't be argued in a short comment so I won't try.
